Descargar Estadísticas Aviacion Aquí OAG FACTS – Executive Summary September 2010 This month’s analysis of the OAG (Official Airline Guide) schedules database indicates that airlines Worldwide will operate 6% more flights in September 2010 as compared to September 2009. The total number of scheduled flights operating in September 2010 is 2,553,925 with an overall seat offering of 319,479,459 an increase of 8% as compared to September 2009. Flights and offered seats To/From North America have increased by 5% and 6% respectively. Total number of flights that will operate To/From North America is 78,445 and total offered seats are 16,416,477. Traffic Within North America reflects an increase of 2% in frequencies and 3% in offered seats. Frequencies and offered seats Within North America have increased by 17,406 and 2,414,945 respectively. Flight operations Within Europe have increased by 30,652 flights to 623,579, an increase of 5%. Offered seats reflect an increase of 7% with 5,197,035 more seats compared to same month last year. Traffic To/From Europe reflects growth with an increase of 11% in number of flights and 10% in offered seats. The number of flights and seat capacity Within Middle East is scheduled to rise by 11% each. Total flights scheduled to operate Within Middle East are 45,349 and seat capacity offered is 7,016,483. Number of flights and seat capacity To/From Middle East also reflects an increase of 11% each with frequency of 53,247 and seat capacity of 11,650,319. Number of flights and seat capacity To/From Asia Pacific has increased by 10% each. Within Asia/Pacific there will be 54,789 more flights and 7,960,185 more seats than in September 2009 resulting in an increase of 10% each in flight operations and seat offerings. Number of flights To/From Africa has increased by 17% and seat capacity by 16%. As compared to September 2009 there will be 5,860 more flights and 1,098,731 more seats this month. Similarly traffic Within Africa reflects a strong growth of 10% in flight operations and 11% in offered seats. This month Within Central & South America there will be a total of 207,277 flights, 20,879 more than September 2009. The resultant increase is 11%, and with a 10% increase the volume of offered seats shows an increase of 1,980,136. Traffic To/From Central & South America has increased by 6% in frequency and 8% seat offerings with 2,735 more flights and 550,374 more seats. The table below shows the ten-year trend in the overall number of flight operations to/from & within selected regions from September 2001 through to September 2010.
